From offering evening classes to the local community, to teaching soldiers skills to help them find employment after the First World War, Bucks has been many things to many people. We recently celebrated our 125th anniversary and looked back on some remarkable achievements from over the years.

We may be proud of our heritage, but we’re excited about the future too. We’re working towards a vision to create an environment where innovation, creativity and enterprise flourish. We’ve already developed a partnership to inspire students in emerging technology, and have plans in place to carry on making a real difference to people’s lives.

Our past

The origins of our University stretch back to 1891. Right from the start we specialised in vocational learning, and over the years we’ve gone from strength to strength. Read more about our past.

Our present

We want to make sure all our graduates have the skills and experiences to be able to succeed in today’s demanding and competitive world. That’s why we’ve invested more than £100 million in our facilities across our three campuses. Read more.
