We’re a UK top ten university for student satisfaction

Not to mention third in Scotland! That’s according to the National Student Survey 2020. The guide ranks universities based on the stuff that’s really important to students like course satisfaction, teaching, academic support and assessment and feedback. With a student population of only 4000, we’re very proud that our students get so much out of our friendly, personal approach.

Our degrees are ground breaking

We were the first university in the world to offer degrees in Computer Games Technology and Ethical Hacking. We are committed to keeping our learning innovative so you’re prepared for the 21st Century job market.

Dundee is a pretty cool place

With a population of less than 150,000, Dundee is a small city, but it’s a city that’s big on creativity! It’s home to Scotland’s first-ever design museum, the V&A Dundee, and in recent years, Dundee has become a hub for the creative industries with new games studios, art galleries and PechaKucha nights popping up all over the city. 

You’re guaranteed a room in our student halls

All new full-time students are guaranteed a room in Abertay’s student accommodation. Living in halls gives you the comfort of knowing you’re in a safe, well-maintained environment with the opportunity to meet lots of other new students! There are a range of rooms to suit your requirements and budget
